Wild Turkey 101 is a wonderfully spicy, sweet, and creamy bourbon. It is a very enjoyable neat drinker that gets better and smoother as your drink it. There are very few bourbon values as good as this.

Detailed Tasting Notes
Nose Review - Rating: 78
The aroma is a pleasant vanilla, cinnamon, and pepper spice. Good, but not complex.
Palate Review - Rating: 85
The palate is a reasonably hot cinnamon and rye spice with a nice undercurrent of sweetness. In fact, the oily sweetness may be dominant depending on your palate. What I find interesting is that has a wonderful mouthfeel for something at this price range. The bourbon will coat your tongue and throat. Honey sweetness on the backend. The spice/sweetness ratio is perfect.
Finish Review - Rating: 83
The finish is hot long and bold. The spicy heat stays on the back of your throat for a long time.
Uniqueness Review - Rating: 81
While the profile is not unique, the quality at this price point is unusual.
Value Review - Rating: 92
One of the best flavor/price deals at this price point.

Smell IS taste. I am just a guy who has been hit with the bourbon bug and who has come to the conclusion that life is too short to drink average tasting bourbons. Go Gators!
