Distillery Tasting Notes

Made by Shortbarrel Bourbon

Aroma: Honey up front that fades into what an American Whiskey should be. Slight notes of caramel, apples, pepper, sweet corn, and candy in the background. Mouth: Oh sweet honey, buttery popcorn, cinnamon spice, a “bit o honey” candy-like feel that keeps going, coating your mouth with a honey roasted cashew smile and a touch of warmth. Finish: The long, rich, creamy, honey finish remains after the warmth is gone. There is just enough, vanilla, thick honey, and oak on the finish to remind the drinker that this is a 101 proof spirit – not a cocktail in a bottle (though it tastes like one!).
